Places to Eat

From CSGSA

This page is for listing and rating places to eat by yourself or with a small group. If you are organizing a school related event and need food in bulk, check out the Restaurant Reviews for Events page. Hopefully there isn't too much overlap between these two pages.

Contents

Euclid Ave

  • The Stuffed Inn: Soups and sandwiches, beloved by many. Extremely long lines during lunchtime hours.
  • Seven Palms: A deli / convenience store. Surprisingly good sandwiches, already-prepared and assembled-on-demand.
  • Bongo Burger: Burgers, fries, Mediterranean food. Tasty.
  • Jasmine Thai: Thai, decent lunch specials.

Places on Euclid w/ Espresso

  • Brewed Awakening: Good coffee and cookies, plenty of plug points for laptops. $1.45 / medium cup. Popular source of coffee + pastries for meetings at soda.
  • Nefeli Caffe: Smaller and less crowded than Brewed Awakening, great coffee. $1.50 / medium cup. Salads seem popular. Tapas (served late afternoon) are recommended. Serves wine.
  • Hummingbird Cafe: More of a deli than a cafe, but offers the cheapest cup of coffee on Euclid. $1.00 / medium cup. Has Mediterranean food, standard deli sandwiches, and inexpensive bagels w/ good toppings.

Places on Euclid w/ Beer

  • La Burrita:
    • A very standard taqueria.
    • Have vegan burritos. Pretty good price for the amount of food you get.
  • La Val's Pizza: Pizza and other Italian standards. Serves beer and stays open late. Seems to be run by the same people as La Burrita, and the two share a court yard. Has a theater in the basement.
  • Celia's Mexican Restaurant: New Mexican place. The only place of Euclid with a wait staff. Much more expensive than La Burrita.

Asian Foodcourt

  • ChiangLai:
    • Quality Thai Food
    • I don't know what the above is tasting. This is the worst thai food I've ever eaten.
  • Camille:
    • Decent Vietnamese food. Good pho.
    • The spring rolls are pretty good and like 5 bucks.
  • Top Dog: Libertarian hot dog establishment, because regulation + sausages don't mix. One of the only sources of sauerkraut in the city, if you're into that sort of thing.
  • Gomnaru Restaurant: Korean restaurant. Average?
  • Aki Japanese Restaurant: Decent bento boxes, sub-par sushi.
  • Peppermint Grill: Meat, American style. Etc.
  • T C Garden Restaurant: Alarmingly cheap Chinese food. You get what you pay for.
